There is a reason why Boulder is the Mecca for endurance sports.
Boulder is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, just 35 miles northwest of Denver. Boulder sits 5,430 feet above sea level and is surrounded by trails and open spaces. Boulder is known for its natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle. IMJ Coaching hosts fully supported training camps in May and August every year.
The camps are conducted in the greater Boulder area. This area is famous throughout the world as the ideal training environment for endurance sports and is known in triathlon circles as the Mecca training ground of our sport. The Boulder area provides endless running trails and epic cycling routes with ample venues for lap and open water swimming.
The camps will be catered to all abilities. The number of participants is limited to 8-12 to give each and every athlete personalized attention in all disciplines. Our training approach is balanced with core workout sessions, meal times, guidance on fueling while training, coaching advice, and most importantly, downtime and recovery.
On training rides, we encourage athletes to ride at their own pace and not feel pressured into riding above their ability. Our coaching staff will be right there with you. We want everybody to enjoy the unbelievable riding this area has to offer!
Our camps are all-inclusive. You will stay at the Boulder Twin Lakes Inn, a quiet country inn with spacious suites including private bath and mini-kitchen. You have the option of single or double occupancy. The Inn is located just a few miles from our home where we start and end all training sessions. All meals are planned to suit training and recovery. Everything we eat is organic and/or free range.
