Swim Workout of the Week


2300 Meter Swim

The purpose of this swim is to continue to work on economy, muscular endurance and still keep it as a tolerance session with the 550’s being short enough to work them steady throughout.  Remember to keep posture, line and balance throughout the long sets. 

Warm up

800 easy, 4 x 50 kick with board.

Main set
2 x 550 steady effort W/ 30 sec rest between the two efforts.

Warm down

4 x 50 easy with 10 sec rest.
